9:00am start so…
Rise and Shine, Shine, Shine!
NNJR -2023 Car Control Clinic
/in AUTOCROSS NEWS, NNJR BLOG, SOCIAL EVENTS NEWS, What's New /by nnjr-pcaOver sixty members signed up for our sold out Car Control clinic at Met Life Stadium. Thanks again to Grant and Bill for organizing another successful event. As always, thanks again to all the instructors who volunteered their time to “play it forward”. The weather allowed us to finish early without the need to continuously wet down the 4 skid pads. (Although, it was a bit wetter than we hoped for in the afternoon). All and all, it was a great educational and fun event.
A great weekend at NJMP – Lightning
/in DRIVER ED NEWS, NNJR BLOG, SOCIAL EVENTS NEWS, What's New /by nnjr-pcaA HUGE thank you to Paul Miller Porsche for sponsoring the awesome Doppel Kupplungs of Pasta, beer wine cheese Social extravaganza after the track went cold on Saturday AND for supporting our members and their cars all weekend.
Raj and the Paul Miller Porsche techs were in the paddock from the moment we opened until we closed the track. Raj, Mike, Tom and Peter were helping out with all cars whether a Paul Miller customer car or not.
They came with jacks, ramps, wrenches, and all the new diagnostic electronics. I saw them working on a 1999 Boxster and new GT4 RS, but I know they helped out many others.
Paul Miller Porsche has been supporting our club since I became a member in 1984! Now that’s a commitment to our club! When you see them at our next event, give Raj and his team a big thumbs up or better yet, stop by to see them at the dealership.
On Saturday, Raj showed off a beautiful new Cayenne Turbo GT and it led the pace laps at lunchtime. Three Paul Miller Porsche employees drove at this event: Mike Ricciardi, Bryan Barger, and Ashish Wagh. We look forward to seeing them and others at future events!
