Navigating the Classic Car Auction Seas in 2025.

Rudy Samsel, former NNJR Membership Chair, ten-year member of PCA, and the Co-founder of online classic car marketplace GuysWithRides.com, will take fellow NNJR members through the current online and in-person auction landscape and what to consider when selling or buying a Porsche at auction.

With the coming of spring, what better way to enjoy a beautiful Sunday morning than to participate in the Northern NJ Region of the Porsche Club ofAmerica “Welcome to the Club” Concours – great cars, great friends, and a great venue!

This event is the initial competitive Concours of the 2025 season and is open to all NNJR concours novices and veterans. New members are particularly encouraged to compete at this low stress event and benefit from the judges’ constructive feedback. Exterior, interior, and storage areas will be judged. All participants will earn Championship Points toward the annual trophies and awards, and special prizes will be presented to the winners in each class.

Children are welcome to participate as Porsche Junior Judges to pick their Best in Show Porsche.

After the concours awards, we will gather to do a drive through the Cheshire Home driveway and be greeted by the residents.

Any donations would be appreciated and collected when you check in.

From there, we will trek through the scenic back roads with informative directions to guide us to a great lunch spot at the Publick House in Chester, N.J. This historic stagecoach stop and hotel was built in 1810. Great ambiance, bar, and a lunch menu to top off a great day with your friends. Participants are responsible for their food and drinks – check lunch menu on PH website.

This will be a trek, not a rally as we have done in the past. The route will be as pretty as our rallys, but not with scored questions and mileage. Joining in on the trek will earn you five points toward the end of season overall rally scores.

Description: Question and Answer Fun Car Rally of Northwestern New Jersey. Light Breakfast and Full Buffet Lunch Included. Open to all members and friends of the club, children welcomed. Trophies for Experienced and Novice Teams (1^st– 4^th in each class), plus Best Four Door Porsche and Dead Last but Finished

Entry Fee: $80 per two person Team, $35 per extra person over 13, 12 and under are free

Registration: In person registration (cash or check only) opens at 10:30AM, Drivers meeting 11:30am and First Car off at 12noon – No online registration or advanced payment needed. First Timers are welcome and encouraged. Each event will count towards NNJR-PCA Year End Rally Series and awards.

Bring your 356, bring your 914, bring your air-cooled 911 classic; if they’re concours clean, they’re welcome to compete in this special PorscheClassic Concours. These classics will be the highlight of this special event hosted by Paul Miller Porsche at their dealership in Parsippany. If you have a newer water-cooled Porsche, sedan, or sports car, you’re welcome as well. This Concours is open to all Porsches of all ages.

Exterior, interior, and storage areas will be judged, and no engines will be examined at this event. All participants will earn ChampionshipPoints toward the annual trophies and awards, and special prizes will be presented to all the winners in each class. Children are welcome to participate as Porsche Junior Judges to pick their Best-in-Show Porsches. Refreshments will be served.

Friday Advanced Solo Lapping (ASL) – STUDENTS & INSTRUCTORS
Approved Advanced Solo drivers and Instructors may add July 25 as an optional third day ahead of the Sat/Sun HPDE event.  B solo drivers may apply for (ASL) with or without prior PittRace experience (may need recommendation from home CDI if limited MSR logbook experience).  C & D drivers are NOT eligible for ASL.  For A drivers B drivers, please indicate as part of registration if interested in attending Friday ASL as that option may not be automatically available.

NOTE: Friday is an event option ONLY in addition to Sat/Sun registration and NO in-car instruction provided.

Want to learn how to drive or enhance your skills on a spectacular, and challenging track?  ARPCA has a long history of making everyone feel welcome and appreciates beginners.  In-car instruction is included for beginner, novice, and early intermediate run groups.  You will receive approximately 2hr driving time on track per day!

You do not need a Porsche to drive with us!
