Once a year, nearly 45 of your club members, plus the East Rutherford Fire Department, volunteer to put on this unique and memorable event. The Car Control Clinic is jointly run by the driver ed (“track”) and autocross teams to give you the special opportunity to participate with your car and with a dedicated instructor by your side, in four car-control events; two wet skid pads, a threshold braking exercise, and a slalom exercise.

This event is designed to be safe, educational and fun. It is conducted in a HUGE parking lot at MetLife stadium, reserved for us. It requires no special preparation for your car; in fact, its best to experience your car just as you plan to drive it on the street.

This is an all-day event, beginning before 8 a.m. and finishing after we put away our equipment. You will spend roughly half your time driving and the other half helping so that others can drive.
