NNJR Club Members and Friends Supporters of Employment Horizons
Dear NNJR Members and Friends:
The Northern New Jersey Region Porsche Club of America is conducting its Annual Charity Auction on Wednesday, December 11, 2019. During the past years, NNJR-PCA has raised over $140,000 for various charities at its annual auctions. The beneficiary selected by our Board of Directors for this year’s auction will be Employment Horizons (see below).
Your donation to benefit this cause will be greatly appreciated and is tax deductible; proceeds go to Employment Horizons, a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) agency.
Continuing the tradition of past events, moderately priced items will be auctioned in the “Tricky Tray” format. This has been a successful format, one in which our members actively participate. For higher-priced items we will hold a “Silent Auction” format, insuring that those items generate a fair-market bid. We anticipate active bidding for those high-end items, an opportunity to exercise the competitive spirit among Porsche drivers. We sincerely hope you can provide us with a memorable donation. Examples of past donations include fine bottles of wine, a stay in a mountain cabin, a weekend in a new Porsche, gift certificates for automotive accessories and service, Porsche-themed watches and fountain pens, autographed artwork, etc. We encourage you to consider making a donation, and we especially welcome items that align with our club’s automobile enthusiast theme.
Employment Horizons will provide a receipt for your donation, which can be used for tax purposes. Additionally, the generosity
of all donors is acknowledged in the NNJR-PCA monthly news magazine, PORSCHEFORUS. Your name and company will be listed as having contributed to the NNJR Charity Auction.
