Concours 2019 – “It’s a wrap”
NNJR held the final concours event of the 2019 season on November 16th. We were graciously hosted by Jose, Patty, and Max Delacruz of ID Signs. Close to 50 enthusiasts were in attendance for a presentation and discussion about different cleaners and polishes that are used in concours prep. This was a very open discussion and everyone got involved sharing their preferred cleaners and techniques. We hope this gives insight into ways to prep your car and everyone will use the information to get ready for the 2020 show season. NNJR concours program also presented a plaque as a sign of appreciation to the Delacruz family and ID Signs for over 10 years of hosting this annual workshop.
- In closing out the season, the winners of the 2019 concours championship were also determined. Kevin Fitzsimmons had the most overall points and took home the veteran championship award. Tim Reid was the novice championship winner. The Charles Mulhern Concours award was presented to Jeff McFayden as he was chosen for this honor by the concours co-chairs. Jeff was chosen for his contributions to the concours program throughout the whole 2019 season.
