“A Tour of Spain”
The annual wine tasting is NNJR’s single longest-running event! It was borne out of a small group of friends who dressed up, got together, made appetizers, and enjoyed a sophisticated, yet fun afternoon of wine and hors d’oeuvres at someone’s home. As the event expanded over time it was moved to the Lodge at Schooley’s Mountain where it was held for many years until we finally outgrew that venue.
We try very hard to assemble a variety of foods and flavors that not only complement the wines, but that have broad appeal to a large group of people. If you have a specific dietary restriction that precludes you from enjoying a particular dish, the catering folks will do their best to offer a substitute, but given the structure of the event (and the fact that it is not held in a restaurant stocked with alternative foods) the variety of substitute dishes may be limited.
