Volunteering is key
We’ve all heard it before: volunteers run our clubs.  But what you may not know, is just how much time is devoted by our loyal volunteers who share a passion for cars, the club and Porsche specifically.  

With so much history and experience tucked under our collective belts, the event chairs and their helpers make it look easy.  But it’s anything but: a great deal of planning, negotiating — and sometimes, exhaustion — goes into organizing and running the events that benefit our members.

This issue focuses on our 2024 calendar: and you can see that it’s full of many types of events; social, technical, rally, driver education, autocross, concours and many others.  Perhaps one or two events will pique your interest to attend and learn more about in the flesh.  

For example, March kicks off a concours workshop and continues with a tech event and a social gathering. Driving season is just around the corner, and our volunteers have big plans, so visit our website at www.nnjr-pca.com, join our Facebook Group (NNJR PCA) and follow our Instagram account (NNJR_PCA) for all the latest news.  

One more point: this Porscheforus newsletter, the NNJR website and our social media outlets are also created and maintained by volunteer effort.  And we always appreciate a helping hand.  If you are so inclined, raise a hand to add your talents to the group as this thriving club hurtles into 2024 and beyond. Because “it’s not just the cars, it’s the people.”
