SUMMARY:Concours Workshop for Beginners and Aspiring Future Judges
DESCRIPTION:How to prep for a judged concours event. RAIN OR SHINE \nMissed the June How-To workshop? Join us for a laid-back\, beginner-friendly Concours Workshop designed to help first-time/novice entrants and aspiring judges build confidence before stepping onto the show field. Participants will work one-on-one with experienced judges in a hands-on learning environment focused on preparation\, presentation\, and judging standards. \nUsing the online NNJR Judges Manual as your guide\, prep your car as if you were entering a judged event. Experienced judges will review each participant’s car and provide practical feedback on strengths\, details that stand out\, and areas that could be improved.  \nRATHER JUDGE THAN CLEAN? Anyone interested in learning how to become a concours judge is also encouraged to attend. You will team up with an experienced judge as they go over each participant’s car\, gaining valuable insight into the judging process\, what judges look for\, and how consistent\, fair evaluations are made. \nCoffee and light breakfast will be provided   \nThere is no fee or formal registration. However\, we ask that you please email concours@nnjr-pca.com and let us know how you’d like to participate so we can be sure to have enough judges for all participants. If you are a PCA member and have a newer water-cooled Porsche\, sedan\, SUV or sports car\, join fellow members for a morning of cars\, coffee and some friendly competition. All years and models of Porsches are welcome to compete.  \nExterior\, interior\, and storage areas will be judged\, and no engines will be examined at this event. This event is open to all NNJR concours novices and veterans and prizes will be presented to all the winners in each class. Participants will earn Championship Points toward the annual trophies and awards.  \nChildren are welcome to participate as Porsche Junior Judges to pick their Best-in-Show Porsches.    \nSpectators are welcome and refreshments will be available. \nEarly registration is highly recommended since lot space may be limited. Members must register on the NNJR website; go to https://nnjr-pca.com/event-registration/ .
